Yes, I too would always take a manual over an automatic. A friends mother in the UK complained about her Alfa being difficult to park and he retorted that Alfas are made to be driven, not parked.

The last Italian Bugatti was EB110 and it was gorgeous.

What it lacks in looks more than makes up with the 8.0 Liter Quad Turbo W16 1001 horsepower engine and the top notch interior.
