Probably won't go over too well on this forum, but this is my next purchase. I've always wanted a pair but never sprung for 'em. Prada Linea Rossa PS 50ES

They're huge and take up half my face. I love that.

Only thing I am planning on getting this Spring is the Alexander Plokhov for Uniqlo clothing. I can't wait to see what he has made for Uniqlo, plus, you can't beat Uniqlo's pricing.

I don't have any « must haves » for this season but I made a list of things that I will consider getting:

"¢\tA Thick as thieves suit (go Getsmart!). Slim, 1B, peaked lapel, double-vented, flapless pockets, relatively short, in grey. Hopefully with some structure but quite "compact". I haven't read the range of possibilities yet so maybe what I'm looking for isn't available as of now.
"¢\tA new black 1B or 2B, notch lapel sportscoat. Not sure about vents and exact cut yet (waist suppression or columnar? padding, type of shoulders, etc.)
"¢\tA pair of casual black pants that looks good paired with more "aggressive" boots. Probably Julius as the ones I see in the look book are right up my alley. This has to be a sharp cut but not overly tight as they're to be worn over boots + I want to stay away from an all-tight look.
"¢\tAn overlong sportscoat, not too sure about the specifics. I'm scared of the Matrix/Goth effect (same as when I purchased a Cloak trench) so this will require some more thought. I was tempted by some CDG H+ ones but ended up passing as something was off.
"¢\tA leather jacket (moto racer?) with an unusual colouring. I'm basically thinking of a Lad Musician jacket I already own but in a shade of electric red or blue. S/S07-08 Junya surprised me with a lot of moto-inspired gear so I might look into that if I feel that my wallet deserves a diet
"¢\tNew black and white v-neck tees. Sleeves have to be quite tight as they'll be worn under sportscoats, outerwear and sweaters with high armholes. I was thinking AA but the white ones are a little bit too see-through for my taste. I know you people know your tees so I'll probably post here for advice.
"¢\tAn EG field parka. Those look incredibly nice. Anyone has info about the price, sizing and possible retailers?
"¢\tAn American workwear shirt with a modern twist a la Fullcount (sold at Self-Edge). This should complement EG stuff nicely but without overlapping, as the cut looks like it's a lot slimmer.

Personally, I'm thinking that Thick As Thieves is a good enough deal (and a goodly enough amount of fun) that it's worth getting an odd jacket, as well. Especially because it seems that the 3B might be wearable as a 2-to-3-or-whatever:

Given that Get Smart's sizing seems a little agressive, if you're going to be an early adopter you might want to get them separately, so the question is whether to buy the jacket or the suit first...

Just a car coat with full lapels at the top? I'm looking for something like that with some kind of street detailing...

I realize I was rather vague; the suit would be from TaT but I haven't made up my mind about the black sportscoat, probably something Japanese, as the cuts are a good fit for my body type. Might be Julius as I keep looking at the lookbook and I love the sweater I got from this season's collection.

Overlong sportscoats are exactly that; a suit jacket that ends up around the knees, with all the adjustments that requires. Of course I want something that is, at most, three buttons and that still starts to separate at slightly the same point than a regular jacket.

If you have info on where I can cop the EG parka, feel free to send me a PM, we're not the same size anyway.

As for the longcoat, the search continues.....I'll make sure to inform you if I find something cool.
