Cream Polish on Suede to darken?

Guys, forgive me but I don't have access to Fiebings dyes, therefore the question.

I have some Saphir cream polishes and a pair of old suede sand colored boots.
My query is If I thin the cream a bit, could I use it very sparingly to darken the suede? Has anyone tried this? Will it clump/stick?

Polishing suede...what will they think of next?
I would not recommend this course of action. The polish will cause the nap of the suede to clump together. It will be bad.
Even if you tried to brush it after drying, it still won't look right and the suede won't behave right.
This ...I know, for..... I have been there. shog[1].gif
Be patient and order some dye online or get someone to proxy it for you.

Try some oil if you really don't care about the shoes. You will then have oiled suede.

Take them to a cobbler and have them dyed. Anything else will drastically change the character of the suede.
