Just got mine today. A tad narrow but nothing too crazy. Also didn't notice the length thing. Mine seem to fit more or less TTS and the exact same as my other AE hand sewn last.

What I will say is that the vamp is decidedly high. VERY high, in fact, and on par with the vamp of my Stubbs slippers. I think they would wear well with shorts or higher-hemmed casual chinos, but not quite as versatile as I would have liked. I think they will be headed back.

I sent a pair back recently due to size. Ordered my true size and they fell right off my feet.

I got my pair, but they didn't come with shoe bags. Do the sale shoes not come with shoe bags?

How much do the shoe bags really cost them? No more than a dollar or two.

Edit- I guess I shouldn't really complain. I got a great deal on staple loafers.

Really?  I purchased Players Shoe and Delrays, both in calf, in the past 3 months and both came with bags.

Not quite.  I've bought four pairs of calfskin shoes in the last six months and all have come with shoe bags.
