Oh well the pleasures of ordering over the net begins..!!
I wear a 11.5 E US size in Alden, AE and Peals, the fit is perfect. I ordered the 3636 size 45 in wide cut, is it going to be too wide?

can't tell you as i don't know your reference shoes personally.

the characteristic of the 3636 is the rather tight heel and the "strong" fit over the instep. imo, the bread and butter of shoe fit in general.

hey, don't worry too much.

Casual derby and casual leather and casual colour make the shoe very very good.
Next best vass shoe is full brogue on budapester last with goiser stitch.

Good luck with sizing,
it will be luck.
It best to never take sizing advice off forum because advice very simple and not good.
The Vass fit very different to Alden me see.
Me say this to you,
order one pair of Vass until you know it fit good,
get two pair later.
If you new at buying good shoe and buy to many,
many mistake in sizing get made.
Best to build shoe collection slowly.

Than you Fritzl, I'm not worried but am picky about fit and finish very much....

The shoes that I have and fit me well in11.5 wide are Alden Medallion Captoe blucher, Peal in 240 last, AE Mcclain wingtip...

I guess the wait with curiosity of fit just adds up the ferver, have a good one...

I agree 100%, and thanks for the valuable advice. Since I'm buying directly I do have an option of exchange. Not trying to justify but it is just me...

Yes.
Picture look bad in link but shoes look very good in real life.
The 3636 derby alt wien is masterpiece.
Dark brown cordovan by special order.
Budapester full brogue look much better on feet than in picture or at eye level.
3636 derby look perfect at any angle.
