Sorry I can't offer serpents or cat's intestines...

Nervertheless, I found this Swiss combination strange at first



The dish consists of a mixture of pasta, patatoes and cheese. During serving, you pour apple sauce over it.

The best cheese I've ever eaten was in Switzerland.

Hmm, only have had a couple not already mentioned in the thread, and really nothing noteworthy. Yak is very tough and stringy, but their cheese can be outstanding (Bhutan). Did not like tete de veau carpaccio, but the host raved about it (Germany). I'm also not into innards, but fried goose livers are a luxury here, and goose cracklings are a more civilized pork rind (Hungary).

(Un?)fortunately, Matt did not subject me to many unknown substances in VN.
