Tailoring Pants - Thigh/Crotch Area

Hi all! I recently bought a pair of Hugo Boss Slim Fit "Heise" Dress Pants but I'm worried a bit about the thigh/crotch area. They're a 34R and fit my waist just fine. However, it is a bit tight around the inner thigh area. Is this something a tailor can address? Or is there a different course of action I should take altogether?

Any help would be great!

Thank you!

Depends on how much fabric is available to let them out, you'll need to take them to a tailor and ask. And in the future, don't buy pants without trying them on. You may just need to return them.

Would it make sense to go a size bigger and then have a tailor slim down the waist?

I read in another thread that it's best to not worry about the waist and buy pants that fit the thigh/seat well, as the tailor can always alter the waist.

Yeah I definitely took a chance ordering them online, but thought I'd be safe since I also own a slim fit Hugo Boss suit and the accompanying slim fit pants fit fine. But I did notice that it is a regular rise, while the ones I just ordered are a low rise.
