Every time you buy 45 things and return 44 of them, you're probably just jacking up the prices on next season's shit. They do have to pay to mail things and retrieve them.

So weird nobody has mentioned further drops today. Sale is now up to 70%. Still not getting anything but just given a heads up for those who keep asking.

Not very much dropped.

Oh, I'm sure.  I bet the prices will double next year because they paid $10 shipping on my return (not to mention my combining two orders in the same box to save on shipping for them) yet got $375 on the parka.  But hey, I'm sure you never get anything on sale much less return anything, right?

Wow, shoes & accessories have really thinned out.

There was only one thing I still wanted from MrP, but it sold out a week ago on the US and UK sites almost simultaneously.

Yes. To be very clear: thoughtless consumers like you, who grasp at every decimal point of a percentage off and triple-stack codes then return items in droves because of free shipping offers COST MONEY to intelligent consumers who know what the hell they are doing and try to show stores/sellers the consideration of only buying what they reasonably expect to keep. (Yes, if their return policies are going to put them out of business they will probably update them, but that is irrelevant to my point.)

I think I have return three or four items in the last three years, and I buy dozens of things every month.

If you seriously cannot see what is wrong with this -- I could buy a nice new Vespa with all I've spent on Mr. Porter in the last week. Nice, and just in time too. Last night they had lots left, virtually nothing left now

Hm, there are a couple items on the Mr. Porter UK site I'm looking at. Anyone have experience with shipping to the U.S.? I think someone had previously mentioned duties are already taken into account. What about return policy? I'm kind of scared the items might not fit properly. I don't know if I can trust the Mr. Porter sizing measurements (it lists a IT48 jacket as having a 16" shoulder??? but their standard 39" chest model is wearing it...)

You can go through the ordering steps and they'll show your order total before you have to entery payment information.
They take off VAT but add in Duty plus there's a 30gbp shipping fee per order.
They ship via DHL. One order I had was shipped overnight and the last order was shipped 2nd day.
Customer service might email you and delay your order until you reply that you know you're ordering for the UK site for US delivery.

I've only ordered items that were OOS on the US side that I knew the fit of so didn't have to worry about returns.

Every decimal point of percentage off eh?  Right.

For the record Mr. Porter offers the shipping option for a reason and in my case it meant extra business for them.  I not only purchased the Woolrich Park, but also two Gloverall coats, a Gant polo as well as a woven from Mr. Porter UK.  Now none of it is red, white and blue, or should I said blue, blanc, rouge, yet I think it all looks rather nice even if there are not coordinating flags out there.  Anyway, I only made a total of five purchases with two returns and as I already stated I combined returns on one of the packages I sent back so as to save them shipping.  On top of that I sent back my returns within 24 hours and all the items were received while the % off was the same I got them at.  Still I'm sure my being a thoughtless consumer, unlike yourself as you never take discounts much less look for a discount on top of discount, has ruined Mr. Porter for the rest of the free World as the profit they made from my purchases less the nominal shipping costs will ruin their bottom line for 2012.
