When is the Next Mr. Porter Sale? - Page 25

i've been a part of two start-up companies, both of which sold very profitably.. i must say it raises alarm bells to see what is a newish venture ( i mean the mr porter side) operating in that kind of style!
even if the womenswear side is subsidising it, there's always a bottom line somewhere.

I'm pretty sure Gilt is doing better than you think, even though they don't carry much stuff that SFers would like.

Gilt laid off quite a few people recently and by all reports is suffering financially, at least going off of what  read maybe ~4-5 months ago.

You are going to hate me for saying this since it was a good deal, but I ended up canceling it. Timing for me was off and I was way past my budget for the month already in large part due to the Porter sale.

Figured I could live without, for the time being, another heavy weight cardigan in south Texas. laugh.gif

The problem with Gilt these days is not so much that they no longer carry SF approved brands, but the fact that they don't offer compelling deals anymore. I can't remember the last time I saw something and couldn't believe the asking price.

MyHabit has been way, way better than Gilt of late. Had a few decent Rick pieces and some really great Ann accessories and shoes. Gilt on the other hand was confused.gif

Just updated my wishlist. Saw stuff from last winter and couldn't believe the prices on every single item
