So I've been watching a lot of X Files lately and it's got me thinking about extraterrestrial life, well not really I just think about Scully 
. I don't have the know-how to develop any kind of informed belief but I'm just wondering what do other people think about the subject?

Yes there are aliens, highly evolved and intelligent but contact with Earth is unlikely?
Yes there is intelligent life out there and they want to invade?
