Persol 714 Vs. 649 Question

Hey guys, just a quick question. Which model, the 649 or the 714 is a larger frame in general? Thanks for the help?

649 is definitely larger on a direct size to size comparison IMO. Also, although they are marketed as "identical" apart from the folding mechanism on the 714, they are actually quite different shapes. I own both and find the look of the 649 to be much preferable, although the folding mechanism on the 714 is quite handy.

I also own both--the 649's are definitely larger. I also prefer to geometry of the 649's to the 714's, and rarely wear the 714's.
