The tux is pretty close to this guy. Honestly, it's a blue tux and I'm not sure what I would do with it. It's the deal that has me by the balls.

The Black Label suit is the Andrew cut. Medium gray flannel. No pictures of it.

Its midnight blue, which is just as formal as a black tuxedo. Take the tuxedo, a midnight blue tuxedo is harder to find than a gray flannel suit.

Why would you buy something that you'd never wear? Even if someone offered me a bespoke Huntsman morning coat for free, I might pass since I don't see an occasion where I'd wear it, and it'd just take up more closet space.

Blue as formal as black? Didn't know that.

I would think black more versatile and that's another consideration. Blue tux at a black tie event? Blue tux at a black and white party? I could be wrong on this, too.

Yes you're wrong. A midnight blue tux is as formal as a black one. You can use either one for most occasions, hell probably all occasions.

Indeed. I have one black shawl lapel tuxedo. My next one will be a midnight blue notch lapel. They say that black shows up green under flourescent light. I don't have first hand experience with that, but as long as I'm getting a new one, why not mix it up with a different collar.
