Slim Fit French Cuff Shirts

Hey guys,

I am having a bit of trouble finding slim fit french cuff shirts without getting them custom made.  I am looking for both patterns, windowpane and stripes and solid color shirts. Trying to avoid contrast collars. Its tough to afford $150 or more per shirt when you are a junior in college.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Any reason why you don't want to go online MTM?  It can be much cheaper than $150.   Other than that, maybe try Nordstrom Rack or Sacks Off Fifth.  Express might work too, but I'm not a fan.

If you want a closer fit, can't you just take regular fit shirts to a tailor and have them slimmed up a bit?

I guess I could get the shirts taken in a bit. What would the average price be for getting a shirt tailored? Where would you suggest for a MTM shirt online?

BB has a few french cuff options in extra-slim fit.

I'm actually a fan of Brooks Brothers Extra Slim Fit shirts. They're quite snug, and work very well. Plus, they're non-iron, and quite versatile.

And unfortunately, you missed their big sale, where you could have gotten four French Cuff shirts for about $200. Now, it's about $219 for 3, I think.

I like BB ESF, but there is still a ton of extra fabric in the lower back for me. Great chest/arm size though.

I've had great luck from Gitman (Bros, not Vintage) made for Burberry. You can occasionally find old stock listed on the bay for dirt cheap (my last shirt was NOS for $20).

How is the quality of the TM Lewin shirts compared to BB-Non Iron collection?

They have a great selection in fully fitted shirts. Pretty much exactly what I was looking for and not a bad price either.
