Brogues under $250

Hi! I am looking to purchase a pair of decent quality brown leather brogues under $250. So far my favorite brogue is the Loake Chester.

Can anybody recommend me some other quality brogues?

Allen Edmonds always has sales in your price range or for less. Allen Edmonds has seconds for less. The ShoeMart sells Alden calf seconds for $289.

Got my Allen Edmonds Player's Shoe in walnut on Ebay (seconds, no noticeable flaws excpet two small holes in the sole to designate seconds/no-returns) for around $170 shipped.

I suggest going down that road. AE shoes are great quality for the money (cheap!)

The Loakes are nice as well

I have a pair of Loake 1880 Buckingham. Well made, though I think the last is rather slim. I also find Loake's shoes to be very stiff but they tend to get softer after half an hour of wearing.
