Black Turtleneck w/ Navy Blazer - Yeah or Nay?

I'm thinking "nay," but ... black ties work well with blue suits. Why wouldn't a black turtleneck do the same? One might argue the need for contrast, but Flusser in "Dressing the Man" makes a good case for monochrome and less-contrasting looks in his chapter on business casual.

What do you guys think?

Wear a white turtle neck and look like a big timer.

woooh...this is a tough one.... my initial gut tells me Nay.... but then again, if either the turtleneck or the blazer is a pastel tone.... we might have an angle...

o/o looks like he could be wearing black with black... I personally prefer a turtleneck color other than black or white
