I imagine they could incorporate two very easily. How did you get on in the toilet?

The only rule is you have to wear crocs or you can't get in.

How about holding it at iammatt's apartment? It would be a great way to honor his many posts.

I second this. Best dressed walks away with one of his frilly scarves.

Ideas for the party, barring Vox's sacrifice of $20 for humanity's sake?

I think I had the same when I was at Trattoria Mario.

I've been away from SF too long to give up-to-date suggestions. The last time I lived in SF, I liked this hole-in-the-wall Indian/Pakistani restaurant in the Tenderloin called Shalimar. drool.gif

But if you are looking for something more upscale, Slanted Door or Zuni Cafe might be reasonable options.

I don't think any upscale joint would have us.

1. WHY DO YOU HATE MY APARTMENT?
2. Been there, done that.
3. He only has 5 guest bathrooms. And apparently Fok would be occupying one with "acquittals." One would reserved for the DT crowd that will surely drink to excess. And I don't think three could serve the other 50 of us, not with all those people doing up their 8-button Ambrosi pents, adjusting their pocket squares, and generally checking themselves out.
4. Is this your way of saying that if we had held it in the Hub we could have had it in your mansion?

Can we have an IRL Friday challenge? Like a runway show?

OTOH... this could be a perfect fit.

SF Armory Deal of the Day | Groupon San Francisco

$28 for Armory and Adult-Film Set Tour for Two (Up to $60 Value)

Quote:
Taking a walking tour is a fun and active way to experience history, second only to reenacting a Civil War battle or accelerating beyond 87 miles per hour in a DeLorean. Stroll your way though yesteryear with today's Groupon: for $28, you get an armory and adult-film set tour for two at SF Armory (up to a $60 value).

Patrons must be 18 years or older.

Completed in 1914, the 220,000-square-foot San Francisco Armory has a storied history, hosting the National Guard until the early 1970s, remaining vacant for three decades, and being bought and refurbished for adult-film sets by Peter Acworth, owner of Kink.com. Earning a feature on ABC 7 last April, Acworth's team helms 60-minute tours through the armory's five expansive floors as they sling an innovative blend of historical and risqué trivia, much like the Chancellor of the Smithsonian Institute after hours. Guests can amble through the preserved shooting range before following the subterranean burbles of Mission Creek through the basement. A menagerie of ornate and functional fetish film sets detailed by the San Francisco Examiner includes a plush lounge and dungeon environments, complete with props forged in an on-site metal shop. Depending on their timing, groups may also glimpse a live filming in progress, though the staff requests that patrons refrain from ogling the working boom mikes.

Hope this is the right thread?

I have been championing this kind of idea for a while now: If the meet-ups happened more regularly (say, biannually or quarterly), merchants could plan for trunk shows and the like and members could better plan travel arrangements.
Since the New Yorkers are missing out in March, how about a mass meet-up around January 21st-24th while everyone is in town for market?

A lot of people here are going to MRket??

If it's going to be in SF, can we at least do it on a weekend? I enjoy coming to see all of you guys when I can, but these Wednesday or Thursday night meet-ups are nearly impossible when I have to get back to the Capitol.

Why March? Shouldn't this be coordinated with Pride Week?
