This was a gift from my boss. I kept it for a few months before I just sold it.

I am a thin build girl with skinny hip and bums, I normally wear a size 25 in Paige denim, and thought I give the selvedge raw a try. The 24 of New Standard is too bulky in the high waist leg,...
Seriously? A few years ago in Paris, I was in a C&A (Like an H&M) and bought a leather jacket by Angelo Litrico for like 50 Euros. I always assumed that that line was some sort of generic European stuff. I need to read up a bit now.
yes, it's one of the lines, which are sold there. seems to be a license thing.
From everything I've ever read about JFK, I don't think he cared at all about clothes beyond how they may have impacted his public image. Cases in point:
Supposedly the reason he was photographed so often with a hand in one of his jacket pockets was that he was hiding a cigar. As a result his pockets were full of ashes/burned through, and he was constantly sending his jackets out for repair.
The Kennedy clan was notorious for (and took sadistic glee in) beating the hell out of vistors' clothing during their famous family touch football games, meanwhile wearing (and destroying) their own cashmere sweaters, etc., because due to their own privleged circumstances they viewed them as disposable.
He indiscriminately wore everything from Brooks Brothers to bespoke.

I read that Bobby changed shirts many times a day, often during meetings as AG. Jack generally took his off for lunch with Marilyn.
This is a great story - do you have documentation for it? I am aware of a different interpretation that relies on cultural contexts that find great insult in the display of the soles of shoes and would love to be able to reliably offer this as a counter to what is the "standard" understanding in my circles.
I have always heard that Khrushchev had just discovered his shoes were gemmed.
