Feedback on shirt fit (with pics)

Just got this in the mail, infinite times better then the test shirt, which in hind site was about 3" to big in every measurement! I was able to take into account the base measurements they use for their slim shirts.

Some details:
Double button cuff, Medium cutaway collar (not as exact as the picture showed on moderntailor), Fabric o672, dark purple buttons, hidden placket, and darts... and I used the slim shirt template along with the straight back. I kept the right wrist the same size as my test shirt and for some reason I can't get my arm through without it unbottoned, the left side I increased by .15" to accommodate my watch.

My thoughts:
I think I'm zeroing in on the size (this is only my second shirt too!). I'm thinking about 1.5" from the chest. I'm also running into a problem where I'm not hunched or average on my back slope, my back actually curves in at the bottom while the top remains straight. This ALWAYS causes me to have extra fabric at the bottom of my back. Thought trimming the waist size down and adding darts to the shirt would do it ... but only took care of the issue so much. Any thoughts elsewhere?

Horrible fit. Waste of money. Try again

I'm no expert, but the fit looks great to me. I'd be happy with it.

The fit is fine, considering (if I'm reading this correctly) it's a shirt that wasn't made for your body so much as a general body type.

If you're going to get a shirt from a company that specializes in MTM, why not get it, you know, made to measure? :)

Get a measuring tape - it'll be the best $2 you ever spent - take the 12 or so measurements they ask for, and let them make a shirt for your body.

I've three from them myself, and they're all great.

Again - forgive me if I read the OP wrong - but it seems as though you might be going about it the wrong way.

Everyone's back curves in at the bottom, but it common for shirts to be a bit loose in this area. Still, yours seems to fit pretty well here. I'm not sure I'd take much off any of the measurements unless you like your shirts skin-tight.

Id agree that its a pretty damn good fit. Colour-pattern shirts are hard to judge, solid colours are much better for seeing teh fit.

I'd call it an 8/10, so unless it was some kind of £290 T&A fitting I'd say its a good shirt.

Looks good man, dont listen to the trolls - i may not be a fan of the pattern, but under better lighting it might look nicer. Maybe if you wore some tan/khaki chinos.

Fit wise it looks good.

I agree. Looks good. I might add 0.5in to the sleeve since it looks just at the edge and will probably shrink up in the wash. Your cuff are sized right to prevent the sleeve from falling too far down your hand.
