Wolverine 1000 mile/heritage line(burton, Montgomery) .. Question about size/quality!!

I almost given up on my search for nice looking/durable boots.. until I stumbled upon these beauties!!!

The problem was.. this the 1000 mile/heritage line of boots dont exist on the Canadian version of the website..

WTF?! it is honestly one of the major frustration of living in canada is all the higher end good looking stuff are in the states!!!
the price is in my range and I searched through the forums, it seems like these boots are well made. My question is

1. How do these fit? There is no store in canada that has em for me to try on, so i am stuck with ordering it online.. So i have NO idea how they will fit my foot. So please give me some feedback on those.. do they run big/small?

My adidas is US/CAN 13, but i tried the redwing boots and head to go down to 12...

2. I know these are good quality.. how good do they compare to the higher end ones? buttero/Fb etc.. I think these are made geared towards the working crowd like the redwings are, but can someone comment on this?

3. Which one should I pick? Brown/black? Burton/Montgomery??
the Burton seems a tad bit higher.. maybe 8''? but i am not sure.. Honestly its my first pair of boots.. and "real" shoes! please be gentle!!

They aren't listed on the US Wolverine site either (at least not directly) because they're a higher end line.

edit: damn it looks like they only have the 1000 mile.. not the burton or the montgomery..
