High-End Leather Jacket Alternatives

Hey, everyone. I'm a new poster. I was compelled to come here because I saw the most beautiful leather jacket I have ever seen in the Zegna store today. The cut was amazing and it was the thinnest most supple leather I've ever felt on a jacket. It looked amazing on me. Only problem is it is $3495! I had no idea a jacket could even cost that much. So, my question is now that I'm spoiled by seeing this jacket, what are some cheaper options that might be a 90-95% solution? I'd probably be willing to shell out upwards of $1000 for a similar jacket. Is that possible? What brands? Do you guys have pictures of jackets like this  you might own? Any suggestions or comments are appreciated.

I looked at that site, but they didn't seem to have the type of jacket I'm looking for. Maybe I need to describe it better. This basically felt as light as like a satin jacket might. It was that thin and flexible.
