Nowadays people are turning more and more to everything natural. Bracelets made of Natural Baltic Amber are very nice.

What should be the proper fit for a bracelet? Is it too loose if there's enough space for 3 fingers? I have a small 6" wrist and find it hard to find bracelets in the correct size OTR.

A local and talented artisan here in the SF Bay Area makes these great bracelets with dark leather cording, stones and beads individually strung between. I have three with different combinations - all very handsome. This one is with two different stones: Apatite and Angelite, looking decent with a Brioni ivory graph shirt. Most gent's bead/stone bracelets I see in mags and from luxury houses are, IMHO, very uninteresting in their simplicity, and WAY overpriced for what they are. These from Bodhi Beads are super reasonable at $45 USD, especially given the individual tying of every bead/stone, not to mention the thought and artisanship put into the composition, choice of stones, and overall elegance.

I prefer to wear a single thick matte black stone bracelet for formal occasions and as for casual wear I would stack lighter stone colors such tiger eye beads (4 MAX). Below is an example of the thicker bracelet with formal wear. the beads were made with the same materials as David Yurman without you having to pay $100 for it.

And you, of course, have absolutely no affiliation with this website. You just thought you'd make a public service announcement for your first post?

Nah I just shopped there and answering a question. Also while on the topic I'm trying to comment and get active. Sorry if I may of offended you, just passing time at work and forums keep me from not going crazy in this little 9-5 cubicle of mine. Fml. -_-

I am surprised I missed this thread for so long. I am even more surprised, given the general conservatism regnant on CM, that there is so much interest in and enthusiasm for male bracelets. I should have thought the question, "How to do it properly," would have been answered by a chorus of "not at all." Although there were some few answers to this effect, there was hardly a consensus.

I had rather thought bracelets for men were a relic of the hippie era. As a counterpoise to hippie beads, some people wore bracelets with the names of POW/MIAs on them. I wore neither. Some men I worked with wore bracelets made from the tail hairs of elephants. Invariably, they had shot the elephants themselves. In my more sanguinary youth, I probably would have enjoyed shooting an elephant, but I still wouldn't have worn one of those bracelets, in all probability.

In sum, I strongly dislike jewelry on men. I won't even wear a wedding ring, which I consider to be (for men) an un-American novelty. (They really only came into vogue in the post-WWII era.) However, I do recognize that in some other cultures, jewelry for men was far more commonplace. The Northmen in their heroic age were certainly a hyper-masculine lot Bracelet With Picture Inside® - Official Price $26, yet they were very big on rings and arm jewelry and such, just to give one example.

Maybe I am just being an old fogey.
I will shortly be getting my 6139-8029 back from service and I'm looking for a bracelet to put it on. I bought the watch here a few months ago and it came with a partial original bracelet that is crucially missing one of the end pieces that link the bracelet to the watch. I had a 19mm fishbone bracelet that that I have never worn. I thought thatr might work but the 8029 has 20mm lugs so that has just found a new owner. I'm not a massive fan of the original bracelet, but if I could find some parts then I'd use it. Other than that I'm not sure what would look right. Is anyone wearing theirs on a bracelet other that the original one?
