Help a tall guy out? Long inseam pants!

Okey, a little lurker here coming out from the deep darkness beyond. I have a little problem and need a little help. You see, I am 6,66ft tall and need a little help with finding pants that are long enough, and still only about 34" waist. So far I have been getting Dior jeans, but now I am so bloody tired of only being able to wear jeans! Could anyone recommend me some designers who delivers long inseams on some of their items? I know KVA has some, especially a gray one a couple of seasons back which had mad inseams. Most of all I would love to find a pair in grey or blue.

Tried searching the forums, and all I found was threads about jeans. Some dad fitted big and tall line trouser is not what I am looking for... Tried the small questions thread, but it just gets drowned in every other question.

If you're 6'6'' then MTM or bespoke are your only options. The average American male is about 5'10'' and you're a lot taller so that means most brands will not fit you properly off the rack. You should be a professional basketball player, dude. Use your height to your advantage! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

You told us your height, but your inseam would have been more useful. If you're a 36, you'll have a reasonable number of options for dress pants, but considerably fewer for casual pants...and even fewer if you're looking for designer stuff.

I'm 6'5" with a 35" inseam, and I feel your pain. I've had some luck with Diesel Black Gold, although it can be hard to find trousers that don't have some weird design idea included on them. (G Star has this same problem)

I picked up a nice pair of chinos from Burberry Brit at the Mr Porter sale, you could maybe look there.

APC (and to a certain extent other denim makers) will have a longer inseam on trousers from time to time, but it's not across the board.

There's always cheap stuff like Levis, J Crew, and Gap, if you're desperate for pants.

If you're 6 1/2 feet of leg, then yeah - you're probably looking at mtm as your only option. I get the sense that I myself am at the very top end of the height spectrum for off the rack.

Thanks for your inputs guys! Shoudlve mentioned my inseam, which is 37-38." Good heads up on the Burberry, didnt know they provided that long inseam. All Ive found with APC is 34" though. Any good MTM sites? And sadly... There are no such thing as a professional basketball player in Norway. foo.gif

Jil Sander dress pants are cut pretty long. I'm not sure if they are 36" though.

For casual you'll either need to goto a shitty big and tall store, do bespoke, or do custom orders.

though people on SF tend to ridicule me whenever I mention this brand, check out Bonobos (http://www.bonobos.com/). they sell up to 36 inch inseams and might be able to hook you up with 38 if you ask them.

the pants still fit me better than anything else i've found from any other brands

(in anticipation of someone making a boot cut joke, they seem to have more straight leg than boot cut now. i only own SL)

Not only Jil, most of the high-end designer dress pants are very long.

I'm 6'6" and have 32" waist, 37" inseam ... trousers have never been a problem. Hiltl has some really nice trousers that are all long and unfinished. N&F also has good denim & similar pants with 37" inseam. I've had more trouble with outerwear ...

I'll +1 on Naked and Famous, I've met the owner a few times and he bragged to 6'5" me that most brands don't do anything higher than 34" inseam but he does 36.5" on most of his.

I can also verify that their jeans fit great on the length.
