I read a few French style blogs on the reg, and I'm continually surprised at how Anglocentric Francophone style seems. See, e.g., this post, aping the Styleforum-approved fixation on peccary gloves. Except for beautiful and always-highly-polished shoes, the particular blogs I read seem to constantly look Northwesternly for sartorial cues.

Any foreigners able to comment on real-life French style?
