I have both the black and the grey. I love them. But honestly, they are not really anything extraordinary, just some really nice suede boots. That happen to come with spats that I never use. Lemme know if you have any questions about them.

Thanks. Yeah i just want a pair of combat boots, I want a pair of the regular CP side zip boots but I favor suede over leather and there's a pair of these RG ones in my size in decent condition. I don't think id ever use the spats which is why I was asking if they were removable. My only concern is they seem kind of sleek for combat boots, are they?

Dang, would love to order the garment washed bomber or the hooded bomber with the Meyvn discount, but not a fan of the grey or beige colors they are carrying.  The olive is so much cooler in both. The hooded bomber actually looks pretty awful on SSENSE and is more expensive too.

vs.

Common Projects does the same combat boot nearly every fall/winter but without the spats (which is my fav part). Was a bit cheaper then the Geller collab too. If you want something similar that could be something to look at.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. The RG ones are $280, the CP mainline are $550...
Are they the same though? Obv the Geller ones don't have the crepe sole that the CP ones have lately, but the mainline seem bulkier and more combat-ready of that makes sense. Also I think the mainline are shorter/less eyelets.

I have em too. Yes spats are removable. Big difference from what I've seen from CP offering is the all leather sole. I haven't seen cp release full leather bottoms in a while on the combat boots. I also have the aw15 side zips and compared to them they are more roomy, esp in the toe. Side zips are much more sleek if that helps.

I know @melonadejello mentioned this already, but I just saw that the full AW15 Robert suit is still available on My Habit, full size run... Even at retail I think a solid $1000 suit is a good deal, but under $500 for the same solid suit is insane! I can't emphasize how nice those pieces are, especially the pants — fabric is nice, and the cut is really great. It's not a traditional tailored suit, but more of a relaxed casual suit (the suit in the AW15 fabric reminds me of the Joseph Beuys suits) — jacket is boxier and unvented.

Love the ensemble so much that I got the SS16 suit too, in black. The pants fit much longer than AW15; I got em hemmed (I didn't need to get the AW15 hemmed), but still left them a little longer than the AW15 because I think over time the length will be eaten up a little since the fabric is a linen mix. And the fabric is just a lot breezier/less stiff than the AW15, so the pants fall and gather, but not necessarily stack, really nicely. Jacket fits pretty much the same as AW15. Fits me kind of in an 80's/Yohji way, especially in black.

I think you check in this thread too as you've given my posts thumbs up before.

I generally lurk but I'll try to post more :) thank you for the compliment!

I might try sizing down for my next pair

I just hand wash mine. Dry cleaning is fine too but that wouldn't shrink the pants. The tag says to avoid tumble dry so be careful, it might shrink more than you think. Maybe try soaking it in warm/hot water for a while?

Maas and stacks just dropped second delivery. Olive hooded bomber for those that missed it. It looks really cool.

Also the pics of the garment washed dress pants look great on M+S, @Occulta.
I'm wanting to Kop them now too.
