Romantic Europe meets NYC: the ROBERT GELLER thread - Page 582

At what point does that happen? I mean I figured that at heavy discount the decision has likely been made already whether to keep stocking that size. But if it's just one piece left in a random size then how much data does it really give you?
like this season for example I bought the Emil, long shirt, cargos, boots, all in one and court crew neck all at retail, all 52's (except the all in one (which I then sold but couldn't find a 52 to replace it with) and boots obv) but then I picked a few other things that I liked but weren't high on my list later on in the sale season. So if half of the 52's sell quick at retail and the other half sit until late in the sale season doesn't that point more to the individual item/style rather than the size?

Sure. I was reacting to your statement about buying a piece at deep discount in the hopes that it will prompt the store to keep that size in the size run. That just won't have the expected outcome. The fact that you are buying those sizes before markdowns, that is going to have the intended outcome.

Oh my... This post count makes me feel old...

Has anybody here picked up the Moritz shell/pullover? It sold fast at Acrimony so I thought maybe somebody here had one.

I'm just wondering how boxy it is. I want to go full Moritz and get the shorts and cap sleeve shirt but the pullover looks real nice too.

Has the Richard Coat ever been done in previous seasons? Can't get over how cool it is.

So I've been waiting for a pair of shorts (not the dock and not the moritz), and I think these might be them: http://www.unknwn.com/collections/robert-geller/products/drawstring-short?variant=13154535940

But the product shot makes them look a lot less volumous than the runway shots, so it might not be them or maybe they sized up a couple sizes in the runway stuff. Maybe the runway ones are a Louis short or something? Either way I was hoping maybe somebody with better insight (Melo, Keanswon, Bacahanel) might be able to help.

I'm trying to find whatever these shorts are:

these are the ones on Unkwn that could be them:

Also, please somebody tell me this all in one is coming somehwere in a 52.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

My biggest regret from last season was mis-sizing the garment washed all in one and then missing out because the 52's were all gone.

I'm also trying to figure out if I should go for the Navy Louis pants on Ssense, wait for the light grey colour, or wait for somebody to stock the Julius 2 pleats in a 50 or 52.

At this point I kind of need to just get rid of everything and only buy Geller and Lemaire from here on out.

Those aren't the same shorts. If you don't find them, you should look for the cotton/linen ones from ss12 or the chambray ones from ss14. They're both pretty much like bball shorts

Thanks. Hopefully somebody gets them, and now that you've said that it seems pretty obvious those runway ones aren't terry.

And you can always keep your fingers crossed for the velvet jumpsuit next fall (rayon/cupro) devil.gifdevil.gif

Yeah that fabric looks pretty crazy with the way it shimmers, the only thing is I like the collars and the FW16 one looks like it's a collarless v-neck, right?

If only that Sebastian that cyc is selling was a 52...

If it was you'd have some strong competition for it from me.
