Romantic Europe meets NYC: the ROBERT GELLER thread - Page 576

Yeah the khaki one looked really good.

So these are the same bomber right? The Ssense pics make it look "meh" but I remember how good it looked from the NMWA posts so I went back to those and it still looks really dope on Artishard.
Hopefully whenever NMWA get it in it a looks more in line with the showroom photo.

Yea, I was surprised how less substantial the material looks in the ssense pics vs the artishard

it's a varsity, so i think it falls in the love it or hate it crowd.  it was the #1 item that caught my eye from the show and i held off until now bc of mixed reviews.

blacked out isn't really my thing and that olive/grey version looks really good, we'll see.

Good feedback. I don't like varsity's, but this one actually looks decent.

They sure do. Seen them in person, love them.

Are they cropped?
I'm trying to find photos from the runway show but I'm on phone and it's a pita.

My guess is they are slightly cropped, but would depend on your height. Didn't try them on and the size 46 sold already.

Thanks. I want to drive up to TO soon so hopefully I can stop in Nomad and check it all out.

Does anybody know what these are? Flight pants?

And what season are the tank shorts from?

Quick fit pic of the James varsity with the Ombre hoodie.

Looks like ss12/aw12 flight pants
Actually they might have been called lounge pants for aw but identical either way. Except that ss came in black or gold and aw was charcoal, midnight, or orange

Tank shorts were aw08 indeed

Yeah this is great. Substantial material and nice cut, just relaxed enough. One of the standouts in the season for me. Color was more interesting in person too.

it's actually really nice.  let me think.  it's hard to do a varsity but overall it's just nicely designed.  the ribbing is similar to the sebastian bomber, where when you pull on it to zip it up, it gives, it's not stiff, it's soft, but then it has clean lines all over the place to make it look nice.  the arms are slim, but not too slim.  it's made out of this ballistic nylon fabric that isn't that much different than what you see on the visvim backpacks.  i use my visvim backpack daily and thought it might be too matchy matchy, but it was cool.  you can also kind of just button it up in the middle (without zipping it) and it hangs different.  fit was good, so i'm returning it to myhabit....and i just kopped the olive/khaki version from notre at a pretty good price :slayer: blacked out isn't really my thing and that olive/grey version looks really good, we'll see.

How slim is this thing?  Same as the Sebastian? Measurements look small for a 52 (22.25" pit to pit...).  I feel like this was super slept on, I initially liked it more than the Sebastian (which I handled/owned briefly) but held off since I have an aversion to varsities in general and also was super lazy

I would say its marginally slimmer than the sebastian, particularily in the body.

Yeah the only thing stopping me is the slimness and short body. The Emil is already right on the line of fitting for me.
