Excuse the poor lighting and messy room. This Richard jacket too big on me?

That might be the first case I've seen where a Richard does look too big. Well, at least I think a size down would look better, it doesn't look bad except the sleeve opening.

Are we looking at the same photo? It looks tight to me. Personally I would even go for a size bigger.

Anyway just cuff the sleeves once or twice if the length bothers you

Speaking of Richards here's another awful photo

Well then I'm glad I'm finally decided to grab it before you did! Very happy with it

Ha, glad to hear it was someone around here, enjoy (& if you ever get sick of it....)

Idk why they made richard's buttons functioning - it confuses people into thinking they may actually be buttoned
post #8394 of 11286
Yeah I agree, ever since AW13 or so it seems like there is purposely not enough fabric to facilitate closing it without being stretched across the chest

I can button mine pretty comfortably, and do often:embar:

Nice. I really like the blues and the washed/faded stuff this season. And I know I said this 6 months ago but this might be the season I finally get a Richard (23.5" pit to pit on a 52).

I'm trying to pick between the harrington and julius jacket. Which do you guys like better?

How is the collar on the harrington? I still have bad memories of collars on traditional ones being flimsy and looking bad. Is this collar more substantial like a m-65 jacket or is it thin? It also doesnt help that notre is the only place that styled it well. Thanks

Can't go wrong with either. The fabric on those is awesome, having experience with the cargos.

Also, I think Acrimony had a pretty good style of the barracuda to me:

Personally, I would go with the Julius, since I mirror your experience with collars.
