Cool, thanks for the input. But may I ask how is it odd?

SS08 fencing jacket i believe? Oh what a trip down the memory lane. Gellers second season... The patterns are poorly cut while the idea was cool so it was just weird as fuck to wear. General geller pattern fuckery u know... Narrow shoulders, bulging back and waist, wizard sleeves... The works. Interesting idea that was poorly executed. Like the AW08 M-65 and the Himalayan jacket. Flat construction with no regards for human body conture.

It wasnt until AW09 that they finally came up with something remotely comparable to the infamous Cloak AW04 fencing jacket. Actually they did produce an almost carbon copy of the Cloak fencing jacket for SS10 runway but it was not mass produced and only the runway sample was being tossed around on y!ja and sufu. Again, cool ass idea and pattern but the construction was so poor and so was the fabric selection, it never reached that Cloak AW04 jawn status...

Thank you for the in-depth response, I really appreciated that. I had recognized the fencing design but I couldn't place the jacket.

So after 4 months of wear my Type 3 denim has started to develop rips in the seat. Too many squats?

Kinda disappointed for $300 denim to rip so quick. I love them still. Probably get it patched up, Hedi charges $500 for his. Assuming this is a side effect of the washing process.

Hit the nail on the head. It is a jacket that looks really cool on the hanger, but on the body always left something to be desired. I've owned it twice and I was even debating picking up that one you're looking at...but common sense interceded.
