Nice. I hope you're getting out of Idaho.
I guess you got a couple lakes there - but that's it. :)

There is actually a lot, south of here. Sun Valley is here, if you are into skiing, for example.

Ha. I lived in LA, and then Boston, for over a decade altogether, before, this.

We moved here nearly six years ago to solve our academic "two body problem" of getting two faculty jobs in one location. Harder than you think. Since then, that problem has faded, as I concentrate more and more on this, but I've really grown to like this community. It's fairly unique. Like all college towns, it has a large population of young people who are going somewhere, but unlike a lot of college towns, it's not dominated by the university. There is a definite community feel to the place. And it's a great place for kids - they can actually go down to the part and play, without our having to worry. Hardly anyone locks the doors, and you know all your neighbor. And this being the West, and having more in common with the PNW than the inland west, it's remarkably chilled out, "Live and let Live". Even the food, which was the big drawback when we first got here, has improved significantly, and there are a handful of places that would be good (if not super outstanding) in any city. When people ask me what it's like, I say "It's like your ideal city neighborhood, but someone picked it up, and put it in the middle of some wheat fields." I traveled a lot (about 1-2 trips overseas a year) and all over the states in my 20s, and I still travel a fair bit for work (well, a fair bit for me are like 2 trips out of country a year, and a few more to different US cities), so it's not like I miss city amenities.

somebody get that field jacket

I know, right? I was half tempted to pull it for my vacation, but demurred at the last moment. The person with the long bomber is super lucky to have picked that up, because they were about 1/2 an hour away from me buying it for myself. It fit perfectly. But luckily for you, it's on it's way, in the mail.

It's described as "dark green" on the tags. But I would say that it's best described as blue green with some black undertones.

How's the fitment on the field jacket? Typically wear a small not sure if ill need 46 or 48

A small in what label? It's better if you give both that, and your actual measurements. The jacket fits me, but not well (I am between a 48 and 50 in Robert Geller). It's not meant to be tight, and I think that it would fit a true 48 well.

Cheers,

Fok.

Anyone have a fit pic of the sepia? Can't tell from the stock photos if I like them...although maybe that's an answer itself.
