fyi the 29$ sleeveless seconds shirts at barneys are awesome. got the black and gray, sized up to a medium. perfect length, nice fabric, slightly interesting seams, curved hem. would've gotten more if they had them.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Got swayed by the tarmac bomber hype

Long and wide sleeve hem problem isnt too bad but i find the material to be too shiny for my liking.

Any idea if washing or dry cleaning might take away some of that sheen or will it make the nylon shine even more?

Thanks for the heads up. I ordered the 50 over the phone. Went a size up from my normal 48, hopefully it's not too big.

Looking at the tencel flight lounge pants from this season and am wondering--are other seasons cut more slimly?

and also, i've only ever seen the flight pants in that shorter capri-esque length. is it a new thing for them to offer it in a longer, more normal length?
Yeah, recent seasons have a more relaxed cut. We kept saying it for awhile and everyone was unsure but the sites even say the cut as relaxed. And AFAIK they were always full length but for awhile a cropped version was offered.

edit: theyre a steal on ssense right now.

SS13 cotton herringbone ones were slim, other than that I think shops just size down for photos

FW10 - long cotton/rayon? Probably called lounge pants

SS11 - cropped cotton/tencel
- long cotton/linen

SS12 - cropped tencel

FW12 - cropped tencel "lounge pants"

SS13 - cropped cotton
- long linen "lounge pants"

FW13 - long tencel

SS14 - long washed tencel. Not sure if these are as long as FW13 or slightly shorter

Nice! I just went there today and grabbed the grey in an S. Wish there were more Ms. I'm not sure if I'm happy with the fit on the S, but since it wasn't final sale... I can always change my mind.

I also liked the moto jeans they had. But the 46 was kind of big on me and apparently they didn't order the 44s. Oh well. Price was pretty good.
