Prolly a shade under 5 bills retail, unless its wool

I don't follow Geller much so question about zipper blazers:

Do they go on sale at the end of the season in most sizes or should i just grab one now? I'm a 46 if it matters

I think it sells pretty well, but they typically will make it to sales just have to get lucky with the size and def dont wait if it hits 40%

This current seasons is a bit different than last seasons (which i really liked), its unlined and the material is thinner and the zipper is a bit wavy due to that (i think)...but i guess its really what you want, a s/s or f/w type jacket

^the arm seems to be cut a bit higher....

That I definitely noticed but wasnt 100% sure if it was due to the cut or something else. I hope they revert back for the f/w14 one, which will almost certainly be lined

Thanks for posting. I am liking the collection, particularly the knits and jackets. I'm assuming stockists won't pick up half of the good stuff as usual, guessing a ton of shirts, zipper jackets, seconds stuff, dip dyes. For some laid back steez, I'm liking the whole look in #15 (minus the hat, not my thang).

Our coverage of Geller F/W 14, including studio shots and an interview with Robert, will be up soon.

Cotton / Acrylic / Polyester

I think your estimate of ~$500 will be spot on.

Yep.

And they do sell well. Last season's sold out pretty quick at 12345 with the 20% coupon. Some will show up on yjp but that's a gamble.

I dont resonate with geller's insistance on wrapping belts around mens torso often at the outermost layer with or without belt loop for its rather too feminine for me. Well many of his recurring design themes are female garments made in mens size but i digress. Those mesh tanks albeit seem double layered and more substantial in terms of thickness compared to his previous offerings have been around for past 4-5 seasons and to be honest they seem passable only on models especially because of their sheer length. Love the idea but if you translate geller's obsession of layering a tank under another tank under a tee under a button up shirt under a waistcoat under a cardi under a leather jacket under a blazer under a coat with a large scarf and a hat and a belt wrapped around the waist to tie everything together into an every day look not many will succeed in not looking like they are trying too hard.

As for the length of the mesh, the ones that get made aren't nearly that long, at least after SS12

As for getting away with the layering, I think I do ok as far as daily wear.

Which reminds me that I haven't posted my bordeaux mesh at all, I guess because I've been wearing the boots all the time and they are too matchy together :/
Should have got the bright red one too.

I mean, the styling on the runway generally isn't directly transferrable to real life. Elements of it are though - I certainly use some of his layering as inspiration.
