A random assortment of detail shots. You can get a much better look at the textures in the fabrics and other details from these. Open the spoilers for additional images.

Those last few are from F/W '10.

I liked what I saw of S/S '12. So did Asos, apparently, as they're already selling a sweatshirt very similar to the color block knit.

That black distressed blazer from S/S 2012 will be mine.

Yeah, that was a typo. Good catch. I fixed it.

Last season they had jeans with 15.5-16" waists and 6.5" leg openings measured as 14.5" and 5.5"
I have the Ash jeans coming tomorrow so we'll see.

Like I figured, Aloha Rag has the waist on size 44 slim jeans listed as 14.5 or .75, actual measurement is 15.75". Everything else is accurate.

Remembered this and figured I'd find it and post. It's a short piece about Geller and his interest in photography and Polaroid.

Also, these are the ties C.Chauchat did for Geller's A/W 2011 collection. I had a chance to check them out at the Mexico Showroom Holiday Sale and they're really beautiful. C.Chauchat constructs its ties by layering fabrics, giving the ties a really nice texture and depth (if you're interested, here's how they do it). Their blurb about the Geller collab: "The FW 2011 collaboration with Robert Geller was inspired by the dusky mauves and greys of Visconti’s epic The Leopard. The ties, scarves, and bowties feature overlays of silk organza or swiss cotton with collaged layers of polka-dot and solid color chiffon."

C.Chauchat are so damn expensive. Regular ones are already pricey but the RG's were more than Drake ties when I saw them in Assembly.

More of that interview where he mentions buyers : http://coolistheessence.tumblr.com/post/8047740108/filthavenue-robert-geller-manstyle-daily-in, sad thing is the whole interview is impossible to find because the site for it is down.

Geller's wife collection: http://www.lerariobeatriz.com/, on hiatus currently because of their one year old.

and if anyone finds older season knits fitting 46 do let me know... older is better <3
post #55 of 6299
does anyone have fit pics of this- _MG_3033_large.jpg

Every picture I have seen of it being worn, the shoulders curve up just a little bit, and I want to know if that actually happens. I know he made the same jacket in an earlier season with a different fabric, and it didn't seem to have this problem so maybe it's the fabric (?)

New Work appears to publish and design Geller's show invitations/lookbooks

Nice. I've actually been wondering if there's a way to get my hands on old lookbooks.

I'm a huge fan of Geller, but the Fall 2011 season was a major disappointment for me. Knits and outerwear were very weak.

Anybody else think this piece is underwhelming at best?

Only pieces I really dug this Fall was the Cardigan blazer (so soft, cut oversized), the Flower T-shirt and the CPxGeller boots (though I know many on the forum are not a fan of the infamous split seam...).

Spring 2012 looks great though.

Is it bad to regret not buying a tee for $150? Cause I do.
I don't think it was a bad season. Some of the color palette is a little difficult to work with and some of the stuff is a little more mundane than their previous season counterparts but overall I think it was pretty cool.
