Romantic Europe meets NYC: the ROBERT GELLER thread - Page 258

That long bomber was in fact in the sample sale. It's been sold, but iirc, it fits about TTS - It fit me well, a little slimmer than shown, and I am between a 48 and a 50. It was made from a slightly nubby, midweight cloth. iirc, there was no composition tag, but my guess was that it would have been a cotton linen blend. To me, that's a staple. Not sure why it wouldn't have been picked up all over the place. I mean, it's a bomber. The only thing sorta out of the ordinary about it is it's length, and it's not even that long...

Also in stuff I'm surprised no stores picked up this season:

I'm pretty sure this bomber came in Sepia Black

Ok I understand why blazers don't get picked up, but I would have really liked to have this one

For sure, in the presale, we will be offering at least one of the more unconventional blazers. Yeah, I don't see why they don't get picked up either. I also hardly ever see the jewelry or leather accessories online. I would really like those. Ultimately, though, it's what Robert decides would be best for both us, the other retailers, and him, which is understandable.

Jewelry and accessories would be awesome for sure. Fok, do you have an idea when you're gonna do the presale?

Not sure if these are the engineer pants? So do the ones that we've seen pop up already at M&S and so forth have this contrast lining?

Ahaaaaa

If anyone is looking for a Geller belt, by the way, Yoox has one that it accidentally listed in women's. Melo tells me it's SS12 (of course he has it already satisfied.gif ). Looks similar to the SS13 version above.

Pretty accurate.

I'll post a fit with the jacket one of these days, been way too hot here for even the lightest of jackets, let alone a mid-weight one like the long bomber.

ughh those are so good

not a huge fan of the leather, much rather prefer the suede version.

also my flight pants came in the other day. definitely do not fit as slim as previous seasons and it might be too big for me in a 46. i might let them go in the market place or return them so keep an eye out if you're interested.

^ I've only ever seen them at Totokaelo Man for $570, so yes, basically.

They are nice, no doubt about it.  I don't know if I can swing that, but I figure it'll sell out at retail (in common sizes), so it is what it is.

I just looked through SS 2014
It's got a lot of pieces that i think i'd need to see in person and try on
and the obvious ones (either "dope" or "definitely not for me")
