^ i wonder if that guy is just on the buy and trying on the samples

It's that that guy is not just short, but that he also has short arms. I think that it must be a diet thing, because I've noticed that a lot of Japanese with shorter limbs, but their American or Canadian born children are much longer limbed. Maybe it has something to do with the lack of dairy during formative years? Certainly, this is the case for those of Chinese descent. I am 5'11" and 175 lbs, and that puts me as tall as the tallest of my uncles on either side, and considerably more athletic. My youngest brother is 6'1", and while he is overweight, at a healthy weight, he would still be well over 200 lbs. And we are a pretty tall family already, on my mother's side, especially. My guess is that the taller genes, compounded with a North American diet and exercise regimes that were not popular in previous generations, made our generation considerably bigger.

My guess is "probably". In a few of those pictures, he is standing in front of rolling racks used in showrooms so that buyers can select stuff and go through the pieces afterwards, and that the shots are clearly just snaps by a considerably taller guy.

Bad models make good clothes look bad.
Sad but true.

Blackbird always had an excellent model (Tyler) and great photography.
Gonna miss that . . .

As for the S/S 2014 presale...will there be any footwear?  Is he still collabing with CP?

I believe the collab is still on and I'm pretty sure Spring 2014 consists of sneakers + single monkstraps

How long does it take for something that says sold out on the market to move to the sold out section?

I agree with the whole diet thing. When you look at all the steroids and hormones cows and chickens are given, I'm not surprised at all. I'm Chinese too and I'm 6'1" 170 lbs.

In celebration of getting 30 packages out the door the morning, I made a code: SFMPants10 for 10% off of pants and shorts on www.styleforummarket.com Should be valid until tomorrow. It's just a little incentive for anyone inclined to try something new (man, the jump pants are okay, but are you guys seriously only wearing sweatpants these days?)

Valid until what time? For some reason I can't get things into my cart - I'll try on my work computer tomorrow morning

I just noticed that last season's Geller x CP hi tops were like almost 6 bills...is that right? butbut.gif

Yeah, but a lot of them made it to sales though for around half that price so they ended up being about the same price as regular CPs. Even common sizes made it to sales.

I'm waiting for those highs in the black/suede colorway I think those will sell out pretty quickly.

The SA said they'll be getting more in soon. She also mentioned they will be able to special order sizes (like 52, their jackets went up to 50)...but I don't know if she was just saying that or she will actually be able to do it.

Stopped here yesterday as well. The staff was super friendly and was glad to hear so many people were excited about Geller. The brown/green zip blazer was super nice and in a much heavier material than past iterations, I might have to pick it up...

The navy ones were pretty easy to get on sale if you were watching, but the gray and tan were mostly sold out. Obviously doesn't help that only Nomad and Totokaelo got tan, but I think it was the best one. Totokaelo still has a couple pairs but still at retail.

I got the Still tee in rose, sized up to a 46 and I think I like it better than the other SS13 ones that I got in 44. Sleeves hung better on the old cuts though
It would still be difficult to convince myself to buy a 46 if the 44 was available though I think. Hard habits to break.

Wierd.

Well, I just made it valid until tomorrow, just in case, since I don't know when things turn over on our system.

Cheers,

Fok.
