Well man I have heaps of Schneider, Jil, Raf by Jil, Raf, Margiela so I sorta know what Im talking about
Schneider fabrics are nice, but the designs are same same and the aesthetic is really different - Im talking about what you get for the price, the materials, the quality of construction etc
I would say they are in a similar area with a different target market. Geller's aesthetic and designer vision is something that is severely lacking at the moment. His use of color, his cuts, are spot on. His design elements are unique. If we were only paying for fabrics and 'quality' then its probably better to transfer to MC.
It was a long decision between Rick and Geller for me, dont really see many other lines with good vision ATM besides those two, Margiela is dead, Raf is pretty lame (up till SS13 preview the other day) and TBH I find alot of SZ brands to be really derivative (Poell / Rick or bust). Schneider is good, but he doesnt change (thats his point).
Wasn't implying that you don't know what you're talking about, just saying a straight fabric comparison side by side would be an easy win for schneider. The stuff isn't really my style at all but I can appreciate it and have felt a good amount of each brand up close.
Speaking of ForwardForward - what the hell happened to that site?
Seems like no one's there running it - barely any sales, site looks unfinished and buggy.

It's a clunky mess now, though it's still a great place come markdown time. I don't recall them ever having sales in the past; just fairly steady markdowns and considerable ones at that.
For all the lambasting we do of Forward and Revolve, their still leaps and bounds above Reverse. Now THAT is a pointless, piece of shit site. There seem to be like 12 items total on the site at any given time and they're all terrible. Given the great markdowns you usually get on the other two sites, Reverse seems even more redundant.
went by frances may.
disappoint buy.
They got the crewneck black sweater, some green engineer pants, a black button down, and a wool sleeved denim jacket.
Maas & Stacks received their Geller shipment just today also. They told me it will be up online next week and in stores tomorrow. They have the Soak Tee in Stone. They also ordered the charcoal version but that is coming in at a later date. I already reserved my sz 44

I was never into Raf's recent stuff until I saw that preview. Looks killer.
