Yeah, seriously. It may as well be in New Jersey. Who typically gets the most Geller stock in NYC? I always feel like I see a handful of different pieces everywhere I go and never one place that gets a really good buy (that's without having gone to AR).

Snow, where is the sufu thread with that info, if you happen to know without having to dig...otherwise I can just stop being lazy and search myself smile.gif. Just wondering how it works.

Best Geller selection in NYC? ugh, still probably Rag. Barneys buys all the great pricy things but in 46+ and Assembly plays it so safe it is whatever. Bird is a good inbetween but like Barneys 46+

well sufu is down so....here is the email

EGOCOMPLEX UPDATE . JAN. 1, 2012

ROBERT GELLER AW'12
Showroom date has been moved closer, I will now be viewing the collection in NY the 17th of January.
I will have pictures, line sheet, and pricing for those who have already bought into the Robert Geller pre-seasonal sale list.
if you have not bought-in and wish to see the materials, please make a payment of $10 to my Paypal and contact me with confirmation.

FINAL SALE AW'11
60% off: egocomplex private label double layered mohair knit hoodie is available in black, light grey, and plum. A critical aspect of the private label will be a focus on cut and simplicity, the cut is precise and elegant. Attention is paid to select a fabric that matches the detailing. In this case, the first hoodie design is made with a luxurious imported lightweight mohair jersey knit (10% wool 20%mohair 70% acrylic). well worth the price.

EGOCOMPLEX AW'12 MEN'S COLLECTION:
egocomplex is now working in collaboration with a talented young french creator behind a very well-respected parisian label to work with me to design and produce a capsule collection of hand-made garments in Paris under our branding and distribution in the US for the first season. The collection will have enough texture, color, and detail to keep it interesting. Muted color palette, beautiful texture and fit. Simple, nothing too out of this world. Very accessible. The collection will be available in March and we are very excited about it.

Aloha Rag had the best buy that I've seen. Barneys and Bird get a few good pieces but a lot of boring stuff as well.

Trolling now? But you seem so genial otherwise. Santa Agatha would not approve!

I think Bird sends all the Geller to Williamsburg (not surprised really). The Park Slope location, which is the one nearest me, never seems to have anything.

no i'm genuinely curious why you all enjoy his stuff. fabrics ? can't be--there are 1500 better designers for that. fit ? pants are retarded-looking (though comfy). ingenuity ? impossible. colors? limited. price point ? plausible. easily worked into existing wardrobes ? would ruin the challenge and creativity. mmm replica replicas ? i don't know who ever bought any. alwaysnever ? the guy is illiterate at best and worked for geller. romantic european in nyc ? my stuff is made in japan.

tell me. i need to know !

blackbird is one of the few places that carry 44.

I'm not big on geller either, but I own two of his curved-placket fencing shirts and they are nice.
