Romantic Europe meets NYC: the ROBERT GELLER thread - Page 703

Long time lurker here, finally decided to make an account.

Anyone know if any stores are stocking 5 year fades or are they only for SS? Haven't seen anyone besides maas stock any denim in general this season and they only have black.

Type 2 5-year fade right here: https://www.commonshop.com/collections/robert-geller/products/robert-geller-denim-type-2

NMWA had them in type 3 fit but sold out, I think there's another place but I can remember right bow

I was hoping these would be a cheaper alternative to John Elliott. How would you compare the fabric? At less than half the price I figured it might be worth a shot

The fabric doesn't compare to john Elliott (on the old ones). It's 100% cotton and nowhere near the hand. If you want a tee like that, check https://uniformla.com

Do any of the Chicago guys know if RSVP has stopped carrying Geller, or if it's in-store only now?

What sz are you? I have a brand new pair in sz 32 that I got from Ecole if you're interested, they were too small for me.

Are shots 14, 15, 18 and 32 pretty accurate?

here's a bit of overkill

Thanks for the find on the 5 years! I'll be in Chicago on Friday and plan to stop at Notre and RSVP so If you haven't gotten an answer I'll find out.

goes pretty well with light blue, but it doesnt go well with black or dark colours,,,,,,,,,,

Disagree...I've worn mine with darker colored jeans as well.

Notre also got the 3 year fade (type 2): https://www.notre-shop.com/collections/new-arrivals/products/rg-denim-type-2-in-3-year-fade

I keep forgetting there's a 3-year and a 5-year fade.

Does anyone remember if the grey Richard pants that were sold on ssense and eastdane the same?

The ssense one looks cropped

The eastdane one does not

Richard pants are so comfy, I've been pretty much wearing them 5 days a week. I'm thinking about soaking 1 in hot water to shrink it

@Timbaland
Those are diff seasons.
The East Dane ones were last season (SS16) and cropped ones on SSense were SS15 (maybe FW15?).

I'm not sure if someone's mentioned it, but there's some Geller on sale at Forward. There's a Richard Jacket and long plaid in a 50.

Yeah, been there forever.
