I was struck today with a strong desire to own this. I wonder if any stores will pick up yellow tees this season.

Melon, what blackbird say to you regarding their buy? I decided to email again but asking about specific pieces and they haven't hit me back yet.
The weather today was nice enough to wear my petro blue leather.
Another, abit more personal interview: http://www.wmagazine.com/fashion/2009/11/lerario_geller?currentPage=1

I haven't spoken to them about ss11, haven't bought anything from them in a while

There are a ton of fw11 sample pieces (size 48) on yahoo japan

Cool. Hadn't seen that interview before. I should probably collect all the Geller interviews available into one spot, probably in the initial post. I'll slowly gather them as I have time.

EDIT: I collected a bunch of interviews and put them in the first post. I'll try to keep it updated and add any I've missed as I stumble across them.

There's some stuff I want in there, but I haven't bothered to learn how to navigate Yahoo Japan. It's so overwhelming!

:nodding:

If you're a sz. 50 then you would be an idiot to not kop the Richard blazer/cardi from ssense for $147: http://www.ssense.com/men/product/robert_geller/richard_cardigan/40898

The fabric is interesting, but unlike so many here, I just can't get behind this cardigan. Credit to the designers for trying something different, but the finished product looks more confused than anything else. It's like a blazer (or cardigan) having an identity crisis.

Yes, everyone knows the grey is the superior color. The jacket itself is tough.

the fall 2008 lookbook as laid out http://www.flickr.com/photos/petertheasianguy/2714897571/in/photostream. Peter's album is very good and especially has great pictures behind the scenes of the fall 2009 collection. I die for it.

I mean look at this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/petertheasianguy/3278116803/in/photostream and http://www.flickr.com/photos/petertheasianguy/3278937528/in/photostream

I die. I die. I die.

edit: oh and blackbird finally got back to me but not being very specific. Says they have six orders with about 5-8 styles per order.

there's a reason that lace-sleeve coat is on sale

I'm not crazy about that one, but I have this one, which I really like for the texture (it's a lot softer than it looks) and overall shape of the coat. Like mello says, those pictures make it look shapeless when it's really not. The fabric is also pretty dull looking.

edit: Still feel bad for desi that those blue gloves were for the runway only.

Coat looks like a bathrobe in those pictures. I have the grey one and it's really awesome.

We all need to meet up for a group picture in our grey laced-cuff coats.
