Worst Purchase Various J. Crew, BoO, Tim Hamilton, Micheal Bastion pieces. After years of hype I finally indulged in all these brands, only to be disappointed. Express extra slim fit shirts (was given a $100 Express gift card last Christmas and felt compelled to use it)

NAMOR, christ on a criss cross, why on earth did you buy so many shoes? From the fit pics I've seen of you, you wear the same sweatshirt and jeans all the time...

N&F Weird Guys - bit roomier fit that I can switch in for my now faded APCs.

Gant Rugger OCBD (learning experience for impulse buying with online sales - especially with brand with inconsistent sizing)
Two Lands End Canvas shirts for like $12 each - will just never fit well, even with tailoring. After this, was finally able to kick any urges I had to dabble with shirts and pants from brands like LEC and J.Crew.

Paul Harnden Pocket Blazer x 2 - got a winter one and summer one.
Ann Demeulemeester Threader Jacket - One of my most wanted items.
Ann Demeulemeester Floral Trousers - Same as above, even if they are not something I would wear all the time.
Attachment Coat - This coat fits perfectly and is great when I don't need many layers but might still need a coat.
Damir Doma Scarf - Got this dirt cheap and wear it all the time. The metal corners are really useful.
Stephan Schneider Cardigan - My go to cardigan, love it.
Ann Demeulemeester Twisted Seam Hemp Trousers - I wear these all the time. They are really great in warmer weather.
Jil Sander Metallic Turtleneck Knit - Holy shit this is amazing

Worst:

Nice Collective Combat Boots - Thought i'd be able to integrate these into my wardrobe but I have worn them once.
Julius Blazer - Nice enough blazer but would always wear other stuff first.
Julius Trousers - Too small and the lowest rise/skinniest legs ever.
Lumen Et Umbra Frayed Edge Shirt - Slightly too small. If anyone has this in a 46 let me know!
Margiela Triple Layered Long Sleeve - Didn't read the measurements properly, too small.
Uniqlo Heattech long sleeves - The sleeves shrank in the wash (on all of them) and are too short now.
Jil Sander Metallic Turtleneck Knit - Holy shit this is heavy and really hot and the high neck is not very comfortable.

Best (favorites in bold):
-RRL denims - fit/quality a lot better than the N&F/Earnest Sewn/PPD/Uniqlo/J. Brands I had before, never going back
-Thom Browne OCBDs - this is pretty self explanatory, similar to Gitman but a better fit and not that much more in cost. Donated/sold almost all my polo/RRL/Rugby shirts after this. Going to move into all Thom Browne in 2012.
-Omnigod workshirts - the stitching on these shirts are amazing, shorter length and sleeves work well for me as casual shirts
-Rag & Bone peacoat from the NM price messup, so warm, nice to wear just a shirt under when it gets cold, would be perfect it it had been USA made
-Left Field Caramel Ducks - wanted this from a previous season but never got a chance before they sold out, wasn't going to wait this time around, the color is amazing
-Our legacy knits - the materials!!!
-ACNE monsoon raincoat - popped up on Yoox for an amazing price, worn about 50 times already the past four months or so and stayed dry the whole time

Worst:
-Epaulet chambray - sized incorrectly and took me forever to sell
-AE Lombards - not a bad purchase but last was a bit too slim for me. Tried to make it work, just sold it a few days ago.
-APC New Standard Blacks - lot's of hype on these, didn't really like the feel/look when I got them and didn't feel like stretching them out, selling now on B&S
-SNS stark - fit just wasn't for me, should have gotten a size smaller but was worried about shoulders being to small, might pick up another one next season
-Pendleton wool jacket - was $3.24 before shipping and initially looked great. But then realized the heavy cigarette smoke / smell and after a few tries to get it out, didn't have much success. Should have just taken it to the dry cleaners but didn't seem worth the price at the start

Thread would be better if more posters included pictures of the pieces, especially for the ones they strongly liked. Seeing only the equivalent of a shopping receipt does not lend itself to interesting discussions.
