since i have to stay up all night to avoid jet lag might as well photograph all most of last year's kops (which is pretty much the entirety of my wardrobe) starting with outerwear... edit: too many fucking shoes, give up

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

balenciago wool bomber, 8.5/10 (=how much i like it), quality and fit is excellent and styling is precisely what I'm after, cuff zippers can get in the way though.

simon spurr waxed cotton jacket w/ down-filled quilted lining, 9.5/10, a more controversial piece in my wardrobe, probably won't get much love on SF but people IRL raved over it and the quality and construction are simply insane so it's a keeper. Still need to get it tailored in order to wear it with a thin sweater underneath.

Branquinho trench from mumma, 8/10, a little long but otherwise fit/styling is perfect for me. Not much opportunity to wear it though frown.gif

Schneider Coat, 10/10

Raf bomber, 9.5/10 I wear it almost everyday, *love* how it fits paired with slim bottoms, quality is good though nothing to write home about. You need a relatively large head or to size down 1 to achieve the desired look, IMO.

Also a uniqlo bomber, 4/10, looks terrible in pic but actually holding up pretty well after multiple washes. the arms are not slim enough for me frown.gif

Best:
All RRL
Tan Wolverine Addison's
Brown Filson 258

Worst:
The cheaper stuff I bought when quantity was more important than quality.

NAMOR, I think we were all hoping for a much more baller clothing storage system for your $20K in purchases. confused.gif

Bugger, it's hard to remember exactly when I bought what.

So, limiting it to strictly what I remember I bought in 2011 (there's been a lot of delicious wine) I'd have to say my best purchases was Land's End Canvas. Sizing down to S (slim true M in reality) they are warm, comfy and just plain awesome. I've got light and dark grey marle, both are awesome, bought both for my fiance as well, which she loves. Great for bumming around in jeans and tee.

Denim-wise I've been hammering down my slimmed-down Saba Copenhagen's, finally getting some nice streaky fades and contrasts out of them, but they don't count as bought a while back. Man it's tough to fade non-raw denim, even if it's a very dark wash. Must be something colour-fast in the dye. Or I just need to get my software developer-self much more active in them. Also have to say I'm loving my Uniqlo made in Japan regular fit black denim, so comfortable and such nice denim.

Worst purchase? Hasn't been much, most has been pretty calculated and worked out well. Maybe trying to find a nice natural leather belt in the right size left me with donating two to the Salvos. There's a bunch of stuff I've given away virtually never worn due to cutting down my wardrobe preparing for marriage next March.

Agreed. Seems like more people put effort into talking about each item last year.

Best

Momotaro 705s--God's blue jeans, best I've found for me since the 5EPxSF days. Got two pair (one with the battle stripes, one without).
SNS Roentgen--perfect lightweight knit
Universal Works Harris Tweed jacket--last year's UK only thing from Ebay. Can be dressed up or down, workwearish without being workwear.

Worst

Inverallan crewneck--great piece that I screwed up the sizing on and have only worn twice. Probably making its way to the B&S section soon.
Buzz Rickson x William Gibson deck jacket--from a Self Edge sale. I'd wanted one for a while and pulled the trigger over the summer, but the fit isn't great and I don't really need (and therefore don't really wear) the thing.
RRL chambray--another sale grab that I didn't really need.

Just got mine yesterday from TBS. Nice and slim in body and arms, loving it so far. Between this and Stark, SNS did well by me this year.

Did not purchase as much as many others here, but anyway:

Best:
Nigel Cabourn green aircraft jacket
45rpm brown boiled wool jacket
Visvim elk logan deck lo (bought from sf)
Highland 2000 oatmeal hat

Worst:
Cabourn shetland knit, way too large, had to return it. Other than that nothing.

Lol, I was wondering where the fuck you came from. Did I buy those two pairs of CPs from you under a different name or am I thinking of the other guy?
