Getting an Overcoat Made - Page 8

ohhh x) thanks for clearing that up. sometimes I get things mixed up since english is not my native language. Still like the idea of having flannel as a lining.

I just had this navy blue cashmere overcoat made. Sky blue lining, half calf length.

Looks good. Is this with a jacket underneath? I like the sleeve length, similar to a sport coat. I wear my overcoats like sport coats without jackets underneath and I prefer a sleeve length closer to a sport coat as well. Maybe that's just me.

What are your thoughts on the length? Would you do it again? It's hard to find coats that long.
Yeah there was a lot of back and forth with my tailor about the length. Because of the quality of the cashmere I had to pay quite a bit more for the extra inches.

I like how dramatic it looks but when I first started wearing it I got it caught in every cab door for about a week! Also a lot of cloak room hangers are too low meaning it drapes on the floor.

Not the most practical but especially warm and I would highly recommend going for it.

This is a perfect description of it...looks cool. Especially considering how slim you appear/are.

^ I would like to know as well, I remember this came up a bit back and it was some obscure Italian RTW brand.

The smoking gun is here:

Japan, where there are more shops selling Cantarelli suits and Petronius ties per capita than there are Starbucks.
