black tie, black suit, gray print shirt, yes or no?

Maybe it was the music, atmosphere, co-actor but the black suit/black tie and gray print shirt in the Heineken commercial looks smooth...is it a good look, or pass?

I don't like dark shirts with ties.

I don't like dark shirts with coat and tie either. But that shirt is horrible. Dark shirts with a tie make me think of mobsters, even if Regis made it "hip" for a few minutes.

SF Groupthink: Lighter colors are elegant. Light blue shirts, white shirts, even light pink.
