haha.

jet you're my favorite poster, but I don't think I've ever heard you mention liking anything in the past two years.

I like a lot of stuff biggrin.gif

copped ploier, a few ss, inverallan db card, petrov, charvet, etc

i don't really post many pics, hope to change some day

but all the labels I was into are either defunct or garbage now, plus I have a ton of shit so I only slowly experiment with mostly stuff from suspension point and things like leder from sw

looks pretty damn good to me. yes I prefer raf but there is something pristine and beautiful about Jil. Actually I like this better than Raf's last few collections. We'll see what happens with prices and quality now that Jil is back...

to be fair rafs last couple years at jil were forgettable but 07-09 and halfway through 2010 were great then it went off a cliff

actually prefer +j design wise to this main line

Definitely over jil.

I agree with Jet
after viewing that gallery, all I felt was a meh

On a positive note, I picked up one of the new Jil shirts from Barneys NYC recently and the fit was spot on. I definitely approved more than Raf's latest stuff. The collection definitely didn't jump out but as a whole is such a sharp wardrobe for someone who can walk a line between designer clothes and almost MC.

http://hapsical.blogspot.co.uk/2013/02/the-raf-simons-fall-winter-2013.html

raf f/w 2013 showroom. overall the pieces look much better on their own, but nothing amazing imo. shoes are pretty weak and the eastpaks look like they'll fall apart after one use.

i do like this though. houndstooth to dark speckle gradient effect. pretty cool.

bless hapsical

i'm going to be a sad sad man if those knits are all as cropped as they appear

sp should pick up raf for fall

anyone good at ID'ing old raf pieces? came across this piece the other day and have no idea what collection it's from...

if it's real it's gotta be pre-2000, the tags looked different then. not sure, dont' really have any frst hand experience with stuff that old. I'm think this has to be 98 or earlier, feel like Ive seen stuff from 98-99 posted on B&S or superfuture and the tags even then looked different. The earliest thing I've seen in person is my own fw2001 mixed checked jacquard sweater

damn no idea on that old raf always had the season and font is off unless of course he was using a different factory and that shit was diff way in the beginning

luckily it's not that nice a piece bruva

Way old. Fall/Winter 97-98 (first Raf show).

early 2000s stuff had the collection on the tag in cursive

then they switched to printing

and a couple years ago (?) they dropped the collection part. full circle

yeah it's pretty basic, just got me curious since i had never seen it before

although... then again the pictures are pretty low quality so it could possibly be nicer in person redface.gif
