That tee is glorious david. And the whole fit is truly amazing, you´re one sword away from being the protagonist of an awesome anime.

I haven't quite decided, but I'm thinking of selling these pair of trousers from AW12 in a (hugely oversized) size 2. In like-new condition, only worn once and unhemmed

And yeah David the tee/pant combo is really awesome.

i wish i was wearing this, fucking heat wave!!!!

but I'm planning to sell this grey silk tweed suit from aw08, sz3 but fits true to size I'd say. I just don't wear since I'm too loyal to black nowadays. Sick piece with insane retail even for nowadays standards. Hit me on PM with offers. I will ebay it soon.

Look at those, sick, rare, iconic indeed. Silk tweed, incredible fabric. The TTS/billowing top/bottom combo such amazing silhouette. People please buy. Yoda's stuff are always mint.

Fabric is gorgeous...too bad it's so slim, I'd need the 4.

Will I ever be able to complete the suit?

yep, that was me. smile.gif the material is really amazing. super heavy, but soft and silky. i'm visiting my tailor tomorrow to see if he can make the needed alterations. if he can't, i'd be happy to pass them along to someone here for what i paid + shipping (feel free to contact me if interested).

Does anyone has any experience with the loop detail pants from this past season. they seem very interesting to me!

I haven't posted anything for a while, so here are some pics of a few recent purchases. First up this AW 2012 piece. I think it's called a regimental blanket coat, or something similar. Definitely suits my taste for the old-fashioned and flamboyant. My partner says there are 18th-19th century stylistic influences here. Really interesting mix of the very formal, with an informal fabric and the blanket stitch around the edge, which also changes the dynamic in an interesting way. The fabric, wool pile, on a base of other fibres, is as David said in an earlier post, somewhat bath-robe like. Beautiful colour and very striking. In this shot the detachable hood is removed.

Next up, a jacket from the AW 1999 "gypsy" collection. Really pleased to pick this up, and for a great price. Amazingly, for a piece of this age, it's in mint condition. It's made of exactly the same wool gab as the long, silky lapel coat I have, and the lapels are also made of the same mix of silk and other fibres. Loose fit, drapes and moves very well. Interesting cut, with the attached lapels, and the cut of the neckline suggesting that a waist coat is being worn underneath. Would love to track down the matching trousers. I think this is one of my favourite of the wool gabardines I've handled. The fabric code is 191. Also, new, a straw hat from SS2009. This is actually straw of some sort, not polypropylene. Great shape. The cord wrapped around it is made of silk.

Finally, a YYPH AW 2002 (I think) coat. Awesome piece, very thick, warm, Melton wool. Huge lapels/collar, which can be fastened up by a strap under the chin. Contrasting stitching around the button holes in various shades of blue. The jacket itself is either black or a very, very dark blue-black. It's weird, but I still can't quite work out which it is:) The cut is also quite distinctive. The shoulders are cut extra wide, even slightly out of proportion with the body of the coat, which gives a very interesting silhouette.
