I've never bought anything from the Gilt Sale and I never felt bad about it.

What is the definition of dirt cheap?

This thread is quite amusing sometimes.

If I recall the prices for some blazers were below 500, sine in the 2-300 range though I'm not sure about price of the do no touch. I once for some brown sidezips that were too clunky for me then but would now be perfect hehe

They also had lot of stock from ss10...

yes, back when gilt was "exclusive", a lot of decent yohji was picked up. a good chunk of it made to final sale too and sold for < 300 even in the smaller sizes. i think that's pretty close to dirt cheap for nwt yohji

That was cheap, whilst I'll be very happy to wear the " Cut " blazer, it may not appeal to the masses, hence the massive discount to shift it. The more mainstream shirt on the same page was " only " 70% off.

Anyway well done to whoever that snapped up those killer pieces. Perfect world aside, better buying the right things that fit your aesthetics at the wrong prices than the wrong things at the right prices cos you're never gonna wear them however cheap they are.

Just saw this on my phone:

"Yohji, Yohji, Yohji

The StyleForum Yohji thread in the SW&D forum is literally the best brand-specific thread on the forum. It’s a tiny, insular (yet welcoming) community with amazing fit pics, a wealth of knowledge, and an unbeatable sense of style."

Pretty funny smile.gif

I've tried those laces blazers while in Tokyo. Too sexy biggrin.gif

The lace blazer, as much as I like it, is something I dint think I could pull off our wear often shog[1].gif

Spotted a plaid coat similar to kiko's aw05 but yyph not y's , is lovely but need to stay focused on summer (should it ever arrive)

aw11 trousers. super happy with the cotton. definitely prefer it to the gaba version as those pants need heavier fabric to hold the structure on the waist. insane cut.

yes, the hat really suits you David.... looks great with the blazer.

I hadn't checked ebay lately, but I found some good cond. aw07 cropped zipper cuff pants (part of grail Look 8) and bought them last night :-) now for the jacket.

Where did you buy them from Parker? You have the link?

I'd like a pair of those too. Glad you won them though, that sz 4 Look 8 blazer on eBay may fit you.....
