I might prefer to have a size 4 on the jacket, but all in all, very happy that I now have the whole thing.

YYPH Cotton/Silk "P.D.H" suit
YYPH SS12 leather belt
Margiela T-shirt
CDGH+ sneakers

This suit is definitely one of his best creations over the years. The construction of the blazer borders on insane. I fully understand what you mean by wanting a larger blazer ( although that's marginal ), the pants can always be shortened.

You did wear the blazer with the SS08 Ronin Pants? Either way, both looked phenomenal nod[1].gif

I've emailed your portfolio to Yohji Inc. already. See you in Paris in June for SS14 ( you in a working capacity hopefully ) icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Hervia have the For Sale jacket, which I love: http://www.hervia.com/mens-c2/clothing-c79/military-buttoned-for-sale-jacket-navy-blue-p9744

I think I'm going to try and set aside enough to buy this on the chance it goes in the sale, assuming its stocked (in size 2) in Conduit St.

Have you handled/tried it on in person yet? I wouldn't bet on anywhere stocking size 2 except Japan. Even Hong Kong ( full of small ppl ) only stocks size 3 and 4 and size 3 fits me perfectly. It's already cut larger than the SS11 iteration that I have..... I wonder if there's a " Not For Sale " iteration available in Japan ( seen SS13 back stage )?

Also in Hong Kong this blazer costs £900 retail..... or £810 if you shop regularly in Joyce Boutique.

PART 2. So apparently thats Yohji "battle" of who owns more shit than the other.... Again.. this leaves me speechless.

That's pretty interesting. Hervia I note stocks it in size 1, which I'm assuming must be tiny.

Funny the price difference too. Basically, if you were considering buying this full price in the UK/EU it'd be worth just paying to fly out to Hong Kong and back to pick it up.

Here's a fit pic with a few new things: hat, shirt, and shoes.

YYPH Hat AW 2002 (I think) HM-H08-736. Beautiful, charcoal grey pony leather, great shape. YYPH coat, AW 1999, size M. One of the first I bought, and still a favorite. YYPH SS 2010 (again I think) HJ-B09-004, size 4. Lovely thick and soft cotton, with an interesting pocket detail on the front: some pocket flaps that turn out to be purely ornamental. YYPH shoes, probably AW 2004, HJ-E04-703-2-4. Excellent condition, awesome shape and quality, leather laces, with an uneven dark grey colour, and some kind of paint across the sides of the heel and sole, which is also gives them a worn look. Fit perfectly, with an exaggeratedly elongated toe. Here's a more detailed look at the shoes:

After running through quite abit of this thread, I see myself moving away from the usual fitted look to the more casual loose fitting clothes offered by Yohji. Saw the Lagarconne shoot with the model wearing an oversized top paired with a relatively less voluminous bottom and white sneaks. I thought my transition into the Yohji-esque could begin with a vintage Yohji pants(tapered or cropped) together with a cubist shirt and a pair of white CP achilles. What do you guys think?

sure, why not try it, only way to find out. just be prepared, for if you catch the bug there's almost no turning back !

never liked how cp looks with yy but if it's your cup of tea ...

Arche that's fantastic! Naijaboy outstanding as usual too

someone needs to jump on kiko's suit, if it were't too small for me i'd have it by now

so good, Ivwri!!! I think the size 3 is perfect too. a tad trimmer goes with the sharp details of the cutways imo. enjoy!
