wrong that they showed 3 as being 8 or 8 as being 3 ? I think I didn't even pay attention and just got 3 because I knew from before it would fit. If not I'll have a good excuse to tell them !

thanks for advice re: jacket yohjibros, I confirmed the measurements/size and I think I will hold off. As much as boiled wool is the polyester trim is messing with my head. I also love boiled polyester (and I'm not even sure the poly here is boiled) but they are two distinct realms that, if brought together, induce cognitive dissonance

AHAP, as huge as possible that't the way to go with yohji, it's an adquired taste though. Took me a while to understand the fit from the mainline. The outcome? I can buy blindly size 3 and I dress myself without a mirror. It's the easiest line once you jump in.

For reference I'm 1,76m tall and around 69-71 kg depending on how much steak I eat. Sz3 on everything for me, but I can do sz 4 (I can fit sz1-2, but it's pointless)

Most of the garments are exactly the same width wise in all sizes. As stated before, and something that took me a lot of time to realize, height is the only important variable.

The knitwear is usually very good and one of the highlights each collection, with some hand knitted pieces around. I own quite a lot of his knitwear and it does run a tad short when it's not sz3 one size fits all, and even then is not than long.
Good for us shorties. hehe

Atelier buy from this spring is very clever, although I miss some action (ie, hakamas) the selection would be an amazing addition to my collection. They did chose my two favourite shirts, those shall be mine.

I just received the wool gabardine hakamas from look 37, very challenging but I'm extremely happy. I plan to wear them with ss09 gear, like garment dyed rayon shirt (blue) dark green belt and even dr yy jacket (basically that look switching the pants) Also a plain white shirt, and maybe some long coat as seen on the skirt collection (i have one of those coats)

I'm going to wear it this weekend, wool socks and I'm done.

footwear- many different manufacturers...from hawkins, dr martens, george cox, bruno bordese, adidas, sargent, trickers,...design wise I love the offering quality wise...well is not his strongest point.

What does size 2 approximate to? A small-medium? I know I've blown my spot now but I might hazard a bid. I'm probably too tall though (6'1")

woah i think at that height you need probably 4. remember, here it is just height that matters , embrace the volume

Ah ok, I knew in my heart it'd never fit. It's a shame size 4 seems to be the most in-demand size.
