Yohji, Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love The Looser Fit (Yohji Yamamoto Thread) - Page 27

Atelier New York's Yohji buy is now online for purchase on their site.

Everything's in black and white of course.

Their buy seems a bit like a "basics edition", but this is just the beginning of the season so they may get more interesting stuff as the releases continue.

Pricing as usual is upon request.

LN-CC will probably be following suit shortly.

picked up this Yohji pour homme blazer, it's like a tweedy wool, but super soft with speckles of different colored threads. it's from the past season F/W 2011

will post a fit pic and get some feedback later

no need to post fit , you should keep it. just get a pair of more voluminous pants (yohji seems to have some nice ones??) and you wil have your best outfit in your entire wardrobe right there teacha.gif

edit: as Ivwri suggested, a fit would be nice just to have more people showing how nice and easy and outstanding yohji is.

and I've been incorrectly writing Irwi this whole time ... should just stick to naija boy biggrin.gif

The shah speaks the truth! biggrin.gif.

That blazer is great. Had my eye on that whole look as well but couldn't get my hands on the jacket easily. Sweet pick up.

You should post a fit pic though, thread needs more pics of people in Yohji nod[1].gif

The jacket looks great on you!

Like how the wool looks in the close up, shame we can't see the speckles of fabric as well. Jacket's a definite keeper for sure. Is it warm? What pants do you have on?

Since this is your first mainline purchase, how does it feel in person biggrin.gif?

I think Limi has only done women's clothes under a different Y's sub label and then Limi Feu. Not 100% sure though. The BIS line may be a Japan only diffusion line of some sort. Never seen it before to be honest. Maybe asobu or wire.artist could chime in here?

flyindarkness, damn that looks fantastic, fits perfect and sleeves hit just right. Really envious, that is a great jacket/suit. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Don't know much about Y's bis or y's bis limi but I'd guess it's probably not worth spending too much time trying to hunt down. It's not a mens label as far as I know.

Thanks guys.
Those pants are actually some cheap $20 dollar H&M tweedy pants I picked up. It doesn't match the jacket, but it's pleated and somewhat higher rise, so kind of inline with the look I think.

The weight of the jacket is medium and it's unlined, so it's not super warm, but it feels really nice.

How does it feel in person? You really do feel like the jacket is new and old at the same time, it's hard to describe, and when you put it on, it moves with you.

I just don't know when I can actually wear it. lol
