When you guys are talking about Yohji sizing and say a 3 usually fits you and you're 29" at the waist, do you mean that's the size you take in 'normal' sized brands, or the actual natural waist? Trying to work out what I might search for if I were to pick up some Yohji bottoms down the line.

I'm a 29-30" actual waist and all yohji I've ever tried (size 2 and 3) fits bigger so you either use a belt or buy trousers with drawstrings. The last pair I bought are size 3 cropped trousers with a drawstring from SS12 and are somewhere back in this thread They are probably 4"+ bigger in the waist than my natural waist so I wouldn't be able to wear them without the drawstring . Not sure if that answers your question but hopefully it helps.

as someone else mentioned, it's been my experience that height matters more. belts and strings and suspenders will surely make their way into your house soon enough

Thanks for the info guys - that seems to match what I've read earlier in the thread but I I'm also built a little differently than average. 5'9" but it looks like this season I'll actually be hitting race weight at 120 +/- a couple pounds, so quite a bit smaller than you and shah; probably sz1 or 2?

I need to get in on that suspender style.

That looked pretty good. Very aggressive peak lapels on a SB blazer. Just one thing I noticed.....your pants have a crease line running down the middle of the legs. Were they pressed by mistake by perhaps the dry cleaners or like that per se? Seems very " formal european " to have that on Yohji pants. I would personally remove the pressed/crease line ASAP cos it affects the fluid flowing form in motion.
