Regarding the proxy talk, I'd like to recommend SutoCorp. I recently won a Y! auction having emailed them with only 12 minutes left on the listing. They've responded to me at all hours and have always come through in a reasonable amount of time. Only auctions I have lost have been due to early bidding on my part; do take note that they bid as soon as they receive the money and will not schedule last minute bidding.

Edit:I should add that they will fill out any customs forms to your specifications.

the instant buys are problem for me... not bidding. how are sutocorp regarding them? and also fees?

So kiko, your 'buy it now' did not work properly though FromJapan? Just curious, as I am eyeing up something on YJP right now and it is a buy it now.

I've done instant buys through them as well, usually within the hour. I have to correct myself: the last item I was referring to was an instant buy, done within 12 minutes of the listing ending. Obviously I cannot guarantee these results, but they've been great for me.

Their fee is 8% and they include the Paypal fees in the quote they offer you.

Thanks for the input planetarium. I went ahead and put through the bid, and sure enough it looks like YJP has closed the auction.

For those curious, I purchased the button wrap skirt/scarf thing from aw05:

it took them 10 hours to buy it... as i said their "working" hours are non-proxy friendly. only weekdays 11am to 7pm. i guess the best part its their automatic auction service.

Dear Kiko,

Thank you very much for your email.

We can confirm that we have purchased this item for you.

Please understand that as this is a shopping website and with shopping order bids, we have to purchase the item 100% manually. As such, this cannot be done straight away. As such, please be patient while a member of our staff gets to your order and purchases your item.

As we have now managed to purchase your item, we appreciate your patience in waiting for the item to arrive.

Glad to hear that worked out for you

I had my eye on that suit set as well! Let me know if it doesn't work out and I would be happy to take it off your hands smile.gif

Also, one thing I'd like to add that I like about FromJapan is their built in "Watch List" that you can use to easily keep track of all your auctions and such. Very handy feature

Glad to hear you got the suit in the end K. Great buy.

And yeah I agree with Tw on the Watch list feature. Very handy indeed. Will keep sutocorp in mind for buy it now auctions based on Kiko's experience. The more options the merrier I feel, hehe.

quick question for the guys in London - any recommendations for a good alteration service?

recent aquisitions
pants are yyph (from a seller on here, they seem slim but i was wearing thick long johns underneath as my current go to pants are linen)
blazer is Ys from esox

Got a few more things will bring them out when the time is right. This is more of a recent purchase shot than an FP

Now i just need some deep discount soft cotton yoox no name shirts and a pair of solovairs and im good for the time being (however long that lasts)

Jacket looks good Bene, if a touch slim in the shoulders. You should sell it to me marchal.gif

Anyways, cross post from waywt thread. Zipper lapel jacket (no code, size S, older more rounded Yohji logo) and lightweight laine wool trousers (ss12 I think).

haha me and my behemoth shoulders. I had them measured by a tailor, whopping 50.5cm at a height of 5' 10''

I like the fit tho, especially open and moving, has a severe yet loose fit. Kind of agressive. I want to test it out with my v-ave trousers and see how that works out!

I really like the jacket and pants TWorksheets, but I think a different shirt (or maybe just untucking the shirt?) and perhaps all black shoes would be a bit better. The jacket is really fantastic though.
